Impatience means being in a state of fear, which produces anxiety and a mind-ego-centered experience. Fear, in this case, is about the future and the outcome we think should happen and even think we know how and when it needs to happen. This fear extends to a root cause of this life experience: the unpredictability of anything beyond this present moment. The mind ego that needs so much security and control is in an ever-ongoing contention to surrender to the flow of life.

When you see that impatience is within you and realize that it comes from fear, from the need to control and know the unknown, it’s easier to experience the impatience but don’t react to it. This awareness naturally brings self-compassion or compassion to others as you remember that life always has a higher wisdom to every single situation and its outcome. Higher consciousness always has the best outcome that benefits every aspect of this creation.
